Prime Minister Receives Families of Two Slain Officers in Al-Doura, Directs Their Promotion

Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi received the families of Brigadier General Hisham Mohammed Tallaa al-Salman, Director of the General Secretariat Police Department in Karkh, and Commissioner Khaled Abbas Lafta al-Fawali. Both officers were martyred during official duty in Al-Doura while addressing violations and enforcing law. The Prime Minister affirmed that martyrs are a national beacon, their families held in high esteem. He stressed that justice would prevail, and perpetrators face due legal punishment. Al-Zaidi directed comprehensive care for the martyrs' families, granting each a higher rank, and attending to their needs, honoring their sacrifices for duty and public safety.
