Prime Minister Heads to New York

Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaydi departed for New York today, Monday, to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. He will deliver Iraq's speech to representatives of member states. The Prime Minister's office stated Al-Zaydi will outline Iraq's positions on regional and international developments and crises. His address will also cover the government's strategy for economic and developmental challenges. The Prime Minister will present Iraq's significant strides in economic reform, including diversifying income sources, increasing national output, combating corruption, encouraging investment, and asserting national sovereignty. Al-Zaydi is slated to hold bilateral meetings with heads of state, government leaders, and delegation chiefs. These will address strengthening ties with friendly nations and fostering economic cooperation for mutual interests.
