Prime Minister Directs Establishment of Solar Power Plant in Karbala

The Governor of Karbala, Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, announced a directive from Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidy to allocate land for a solar power plant in the governorate. This announcement came during a press conference today, where Al-Khattabi noted the Prime Minister's directives were pivotal in ensuring the success of this year's Ashura pilgrimage rituals. He clarified that approximately five million visitors participated in these religious ceremonies. The Governor affirmed that the success of security and service plans was due to significant efforts by security forces and service departments. Al-Khattabi also highlighted the Prime Minister's broad directive to all responsible authorities to ensure the pilgrimage's success, expressing deep gratitude to the holy shrines, security forces, and Popular Mobilization Forces for their effective contributions to security and success of the pilgrimage.
