President Nazem Amedi affirmed on Tuesday that Iraq's strength and stability are rooted in a professional military institution capable of safeguarding its sovereignty and enhancing national security. These remarks were made during his reception of the Chief of Staff of the Army, First Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, at Salam Palace in Baghdad. The meeting covered a comprehensive review of the armed forces' readiness and operational preparedness, along with discussions on plans to bolster their technical and logistical capabilities for efficient duty performance. The President stressed that the military's crucial role extends beyond mere protection.
