President Nezar Amidi affirmed on Saturday that there is ample room for action to build an Iraq characterized by greater strength, stability, and noticeable prosperity. Amidi extended sincere congratulations and best wishes to all citizens on the occasion of the National Day, recalling a pivotal milestone in the country's history when Iraq gained independence and joined the League of Nations in 1932. He noted the recollection of nearly a century of Iraq's journey, including its events and transformations, as well as the conflicts, crises, and challenges experienced by the people, emphasizing the Iraqis' persistent attachment to their homeland and their ability to overcome hardships and rise anew. He explained that the imperative duty dictates learning from past lessons and making common denominators stronger than any differences, along with the necessity of joint national efforts to achieve stability, security, and ensure a dignified life, services, and genuine job opportunities for citizens. He indicated that advancing the country's future is a responsibility resting upon everyone, requiring sincere solidarity among all state institutions, political factions, and societal spectra, while prioritizing the interests of citizens and future generations. He concluded by emphasizing the remembrance of the nation's martyrs and their sacrifices, stressing that numerous tasks and promising opportunities lie ahead to achieve a qualitative leap toward a stronger, more stable, and prosperous Iraq.
