PM Affirms State Building, Rule of Law, Recalling Al-Kifa'i Jihad Fatwa
Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi affirmed on Saturday the continued building of a strong, stable state, emphasizing the consolidation of the rule of law and institutional prestige. His remarks came as he commemorated the Al-Kifa'i Jihad fatwa, which he described as a decisive national turning point. In a post on the X platform, Al-Zaidi expressed deep pride and appreciation for this fatwa, issued by the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Sayyid Ali Al-Sistani. He noted that the fatwa prompted Iraqis to immediately respond to the call to defend the homeland and holy sites. Al-Zaidi also highlighted the unity forged in confronting terrorist remnants, praising the wise stance of the esteemed Marja'iya, which strengthened the spirit of sacrifice and belonging. He further evoked the sacrifices of the righteous martyrs who fell defending Iraq.
