Pentagon Seals Deals to Boost THAAD and PAC-3 Missile Production

The U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) has announced the signing of agreements with military industrial companies Northrop Grumman and Lockheed Martin, aiming to increase the production of missiles for the "THAAD" and "Patriot PAC-3" systems. The department clarified in a statement that these framework agreements, concluded in cooperation with the two companies, aim to expand the production capabilities for critical components of interceptor missiles. It noted that these understandings ensure long-term demand stability for key suppliers, which will contribute to tripling the production volume of advanced capability Patriot PAC-3 interceptor missiles and quadrupling that of THAAD system interceptor missiles.
