Pentagon Reveals Details of Seizing Iranian Ship "Tosca" After Shelling Its Engine Room in the Arabian Sea

Cain explained that the vessel refused to comply with warnings for six hours while heading to Bandar Abbas port, prompting U.S. forces to fire nine shells directly at the engine room to paralyze its movement. Following the disablement, Marine Corps forces executed an aerial insertion to secure the ship and detain its crew, marking the first escalation of its kind since the U.S. naval blockade on Iran began on April 13.
