Political factions are nearing the conclusion of negotiations over completing the ministerial cabinet, ahead of a parliamentary session dedicated to approving the remaining government portfolios. MP Ahmed Al-Muburqa of the State of Law Coalition stated on Thursday that consultations among political groups regarding the government lineup have almost finished. He pointed out that parliament is waiting for the official call to convene and vote on the vacant ministerial positions. Al-Muburqa explained that the nominees' names will be made public once the Prime Minister officially submits them to parliament. He noted that there is no standard framework or specific mechanism followed by political parties and blocs when putting forward their candidates. The lawmaker reiterated that a parliamentary session will be held shortly to approve the nominees and finalize the cabinet lineup. Regarding the vice president positions, Al-Muburqa clarified that this matter is postponed and will not be addressed at present, noting that further details will emerge before the official date of the parliament session is announced.
