Oil prices edged higher in early trading on Wednesday, recovering some of the previous session's losses. This uptick comes as investors continue to assess the likelihood of resolving the regional conflict and whether the Strait of Hormuz will be fully reopened for oil shipping. Brent crude futures climbed by 35 cents to $78.61 per barrel, while U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude rose by 47 cents, reaching $75.58 per barrel, as of 04:16 GMT. The two benchmark crudes had experienced approximately a 5% decline on Tuesday, marking their second consecutive session of losses, pushing prices to three-month lows amid hopes that a potential agreement would facilitate oil supply flow through the strait.
