Oil prices continued their rise on Monday with the stalling of efforts aimed at ending the American-Israeli war on Iran after a nuclear plant in the UAE was attacked and expectations that US President Donald Trump will discuss available military options toward Iran.
By 04:05 GMT, Brent crude futures rose $1.91, or 1.75%, to $111.17 a barrel after touching their highest level since May 5 earlier in the session.
US West Texas Intermediate crude recorded $107.62 a barrel, up $2.20, or 2.09%, which is its highest level since April 30.
