Official report monitors Washington military losses against Iran

A report issued by the US Congressional Research Service revealed the losses sustained by the United States during operations against Iran, indicating that the figures are preliminary and subject to increase. The updated report confirmed that more than 80 US military aircraft and helicopters have been destroyed or damaged since the beginning of combat operations against Iran. The report stated that 81 aircraft or helicopters, including drones, are believed to have been lost or damaged during American operations against Iran since February 28. According to the classification in the report, among the 81 lost or damaged aircraft, 47 were drones, 21 tactical combat aircraft, and 13 helicopters. 54 aircraft were completely destroyed or classified as confirmed combat losses, while 27 other aircraft suffered severe damage and were initially sent for maintenance. The report's authors emphasized that the figures contained within it are preliminary and may be subject to revision given the imposed confidentiality, the ongoing combat operations, and the difficulties in verifying data.
