Netanyahu Warns of Consequences if Turkey Acquires F-35 Fighter Jets

He added that "Turkey has aggressive ambitions and is not a force supporting peace and stability." Netanyahu reiterated his warning that Turkey's possession of F-35 jets would inevitably result in "aggressive actions." Regarding Iran, Netanyahu expressed skepticism about the possibility of reaching an agreement but emphasized the need to give the US President a chance. He affirmed that he would not allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons, regardless of whether an agreement is reached. Netanyahu also hinted on Tuesday at the possibility of military intervention by Tel Aviv to secure shipping lanes and ensure freedom of maritime trade. This came during his visit to the Haifa naval base, accompanied by the Commander of the Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Eyal Harel, where he received an operational briefing. Netanyahu stated that he had set a clear goal for the naval forces and Israel: to ensure the safety of shipping lanes and freedom of maritime trade, without specifying how this would be achieved. However, his remarks suggested the potential for military intervention.
