Nechirvan Barzani Condemns Office Targeting, Urges Federal Government to Prevent Future Attacks

Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region, on Monday strongly condemned the dawn attacks that targeted the office of KRG Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and the residence of the Parastin protection agency head. Barzani described these assaults as "completely unacceptable and a dangerous escalation." He called on the federal government in Baghdad to fulfill its constitutional responsibilities for the country's security and stability, preventing future aggressions. He stressed that protecting Iraq's sovereignty, security, and stability, including the Kurdistan Region, is a shared responsibility, urging all to work towards de-escalation and containing tensions.
