MP resolving remaining ministries delayed due nominated names not blocs disputes
MP Susan Al-Saad reported that the resolution of the remaining ministries was not delayed due to disputes over the blocs' shares, but rather because of the names proposed to assume the ministerial positions.
Al-Saad said, according to the official newspaper, "Most of the ministries were previously agreed upon between the political forces, and the resolution of the remaining ministries was not delayed due to disputes over the blocs' shares, but rather because of the names proposed to assume the ministerial positions."
She explained that "the ministries have been resolved for the political blocs in terms of entitlement, but some personalities presented to fill ministerial positions raised controversy and objections among a number of blocs, which required further understandings before proceeding to present them for voting inside the Parliament."
