Parliamentary representative Mustafa Abdul Hadi has proposed a mini-budget to address pressing issues, foremost being the permanent employment of contract and daily wage workers. The proposed budget, valued between 20 and 30 trillion dinars, has seen all its technical and administrative procedures completed. However, the decision to pass or postpone it until 2027 lies with the government. Abdul Hadi confirmed the Ministry of Finance officially agreed to include the permanent employment of contract and daily workers in the 2026 general budget draft. He noted the Ministry continues preparing this budget, with no decision to halt or cancel its work issued. Government efforts are focused on finalizing the draft, ensuring the inclusion of the permanent employment clause to secure these workers' rights and ensure fairness.
