MP necessity adopting emergency plan similar food security law if budget unapproved

The MP from the State of Law Coalition, Ali Al-Azirjawi, emphasized the necessity of adopting an emergency plan similar to the food security law if the budget fails to pass.

Al-Azirjawi stated, according to the official newspaper: "The necessity of adopting an emergency plan similar to the food security law in the event that the budget allocation is not approved within the constitutional timelines."

He explained that "the current circumstances require exceptional measures to ensure the continuous and organized functioning of state institutions."

He added that "the country faces economic challenges related to the volume of domestic and foreign debt, in addition to regional tensions that further complicate the general financial scene."
