Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has achieved a new record in the Turkish League, becoming the first foreign player since the 2000-2001 season to score four goals in his first three starts with his new team, Trabzonspor, according to Opta. Salah, who joined from English club Liverpool, scored his team's second goal from a penalty kick and assisted Trabzonspor's fourth goal with a distinctive pass to his teammate Ernest Muci, as part of a remarkable performance in the fourth round. The 34-year-old player reached his fourth goal after scoring twice against Istanbul Basaksehir, then finding the net against Umidspor, in addition to the goal he scored against Genclerbirligi. Salah led his team, Trabzonspor, to a resounding 5-0 victory over visitors Genclerbirligi on Sunday evening.
