 The Iraqi Ministry of Trade confirmed today, Saturday, the activation of extensive regulatory coordination to monitor essential commodity prices and prevent monopolies in cooperation with specialized agencies. Ministry spokesperson Mohammed Hanoun stated that the ministry is closely monitoring navigation in the Strait of Hormuz following its reopening, noting that the smooth flow of vessels will directly contribute to lowering shipping and insurance costs.
