Ministry of Labor Releases Social Assistance for November

The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced on Wednesday the release of social assistance for November 2026, benefiting over two million families in Baghdad and other provinces, excluding the Kurdistan Region, with a total amount exceeding 434 billion dinars. Ahmed Khalaf, head of the Social Protection Authority, stated that the payment included more than 1.475 million families headed by men, with amounts exceeding 351 billion dinars, and over 555 thousand families headed by women, with amounts exceeding 82 billion dinars. He added that the authority completed all necessary technical, administrative, and financial procedures for the disbursement, coordinating with relevant entities to ensure smooth processing and delivery of entitlements to eligible families, urging beneficiaries to visit authorized payment outlets to receive their assistance.
