Lebanon Downplays Israel's Maritime Map, Affirming Boundary Agreement Remains Valid

 Lebanese Energy Minister Joe Sadi stated Monday that the maritime map published by the Israeli army regarding the "Maritime Defense Zone" does not alter the legal reality of the boundaries agreed upon in 2022. Sadi affirmed that the demarcation agreement remains in effect without change. Meanwhile, sources revealed upcoming talks between the two sides in Washington next Thursday—the first since the ceasefire began—to discuss outstanding issues and ensure the stability of the maritime region in 2026.
