The Khidmat Alliance on Monday called for accelerating the submission of the Popular Mobilization Commission's (Hashd al-Shaabi) two laws for a vote, affirming its support for the initiative to confine arms to the state, manage, and organize them. This came during a meeting between a delegation from the alliance, headed by Mohammed Sahib Al-Darraji, and Prime Minister Ali Zaidy. Hussam Al-Rubaie, a member of the political body and official spokesperson for the alliance, stated that the meeting discussed several issues, primarily expediting the submission of the Hashd al-Shaabi laws. According to Al-Rubaie, the alliance reiterated its endorsement of the initiative to restrict weapons to the state, along with their management and regulation. Support also encompassed combating corruption, economic reforms, efforts to provide services to citizens, and approving the Food and Drug Authority Law.
