Judge Zaidan graduates American University batch I recommend you not compromise values
The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, emphasized today, Saturday, that nation-building is only achieved through the efforts of its loyal citizens, and that the value of knowledge lies in sincere service to the people, noting that the most difficult decisions are those that require integrity, impartiality, and courage.
Judge Zaidan said in a speech during his attendance at the graduation ceremony of the batch of American University students, "It is an honor for me to be among you today in this blessed celebration, and to stand before this group of graduates, which gives me certainty that the future is made here and by your hands."
He addressed the graduates saying: "Today you do not only hold a certificate, but you carry a message titled commitment, integrity, and responsibility," explaining that "the knowledge you acquired does not reach its full value until it turns into a good impact in society and a sincere service to people."
He added, "From our experience in judicial work, I assure you that the most difficult decisions are not those that only need legal knowledge, but rather those that require integrity, impartiality, and courage," pointing out that "graduates will face in every position they occupy in the future situations that test their integrity and impartiality before their competence."
The President of the Supreme Judicial Council continued: "We emphasize that nation-building is only done through the efforts of its loyal citizens, and today you are part of this building, so be up to the responsibility, and contribute to establishing the values of justice, respect for the law, and serving society with a high human spirit."
Judge Zaidan called on the graduates "not to overlook the role of mothers, fathers, and teachers who were behind this achievement, and to be loyal to them by providing useful work and responsible behavior in the future," recommending them "not to compromise on values no matter the temptations, and to continue learning because knowledge does not stop at a certificate, and responsibility does not end with graduation but rather begins from it."
He concluded his speech by congratulating the graduates, expressing his gratitude to the American University, represented by its management and teaching staff, for their great efforts in achieving this accomplishment.
