The Israeli Foreign Ministry announced that ten European and Western countries have prohibited the entry of Israeli ministers Itamar Ben-Gvir and Bezalel Smotrich into their territories. In response to an inquiry from MP Gilad Kariv, the Ministry clarified that it is monitoring this diplomatic development, urging these nations to reconsider their decisions which it deems unjustified. For his part, MP Kariv stated that the Ministry's defense of Ben-Gvir and Smotrich is "evidence of Netanyahu and Likud ministers' surrender to the Kahanist current," warning that "this unprecedented international crisis threatens the security of all Israeli citizens." The countries that have taken this decision include: Britain, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Spain, Belgium, Norway, Ireland, New Zealand, and France.
