IRGC Spokesman: Missiles Capable of In-Flight Course Correction

Hussein Mohebbi, spokesman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), stated that some Iranian missiles now possess the capability for guidance and in-flight course alteration, enabling them to evade sophisticated air defense systems. This declaration was made during a ceremony held in the northern city of Qazvin to commemorate "Journalists' Day." Mohebbi clarified that Iran has significantly developed its capabilities in missile and drone technologies, indicating that these potentials have been employed in previous operations to target what he described as "the enemy's power network." He added that Iranian missiles are no longer limited to merely launching from one point to impact another; rather, they have acquired precise guidance features and aerial maneuverability, with some capable of changing their trajectory mid-flight to circumvent adversaries' air defenses. He emphasized that Iran's strategy in what he termed "technological warfare" is not solely aimed at destroying physical infrastructure and equipment but extends beyond that to include targeting the decision-making and defense networks of its opponents, reflecting an evolution in Iranian military doctrine.
