Iraq's Tomato Imports Decline

Iraq's imports of fresh or chilled tomatoes reached their lowest level in 2025. International trade data revealed that the value of these imports amounted to approximately $7.542 million in 2025, marking a decline of about 50.9% compared to $15.359 million in 2024. Iraq's tomato imports had previously reached $163.719 million in 2021, before falling to $115.199 million in 2022, then rising to $156.574 million in 2023, only to experience a sharp decline again during 2024 and 2025.
