Iraqi Parliament Postpones Session to Next Wednesday

The Iraqi Council of Representatives adjourned its Monday session until next Wednesday. The Council's media department confirmed the session featured the first reading of several key draft laws. These included the initial amendment to the Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Law, and Iraq's accession to the 2016 Framework Agreement for the International Solar Alliance (ISA). The agenda also covered Iraq's ratification of the UN Convention on International Settlement Agreements on Mediation, alongside the fourth amendment to Industrial Investment Law No. (20) of 1998 for Private and Mixed Sectors.
