Iraqi Parliament Dismisses Investment Commission Head Haider Makkiya, Refers Files

The Iraqi Parliament voted today, Thursday, to dismiss the head of the National Investment Commission, Haider Makkiya, from his post. The Parliament's media department stated that the vote also included referring the commission head's files to the Integrity Commission. This decision follows the Parliament's earlier announcement of commencing an absentee questioning of Makkiya.
