Iraqi Foreign Minister Thanks Iranian Counterpart for Briefing Baghdad on Negotiations

Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein on Monday thanked his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, for continuous communication and briefing the Iraqi side on the ongoing negotiations. Minister Hussein had received a phone call earlier on Monday from the Islamic Republic of Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi. During the call, Araghchi expressed thanks to Hussein for his efforts at various stages in bridging viewpoints between the parties. He also thanked the Iraqi government and Foreign Ministry for their role in supporting efforts to ensure the success of this process. For his part, Fuad Hussein offered personal congratulations to Araghchi and both negotiating delegations, appreciating the significant efforts made to reach understandings that enhance regional security and stability. The Minister stressed the importance of fully ending the state of war, allowing regional countries to dedicate themselves to economic development and growth, serving their peoples' interests and strengthening stability and prosperity. Concluding the call, Hussein reiterated his congratulations and thanks to the Iranian Foreign Minister for his continuous communication and keeping the Iraqi side informed throughout the negotiations.
