Iraqi FM Heads High-Level Delegation for Official Saudi Visit

A high-level Iraqi delegation, led by Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein, arrived today, Sunday, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, for an official visit. This visit comes in response to an official invitation from Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs. Hussein is accompanied on this visit by the National Security Advisor and the Head of the National Intelligence Service, in addition to an advanced delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Iraqi delegation is scheduled to hold political and security discussions with senior officials in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These discussions will cover ways to strengthen bilateral relations and develop mechanisms for coordination and joint cooperation in various fields, with the aim of achieving the mutual interests of the two sisterly countries and contributing to supporting security and stability at regional and international levels.
