Iraq rejects any change to Jerusalem’s legal status

Iraq reaffirmed its rejection of any changes to the legal and historical status of Jerusalem during an Arab League meeting in Cairo. Ambassador Qahtan Taha Khalaf emphasized Iraq’s support for Palestinian rights and the establishment of a state with Jerusalem as its capital.
