Iraq Demands Evidence on Origin of Attacks, Affirms No Proof Has Been Submitted

The spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah al-Numaan, affirmed on Wednesday that Iraq demands the presentation of evidence and proof regarding claims of attacks originating from its territory, stressing that no party has yet submitted any such evidence. Al-Numaan clarified that the "Saudi-American aggression" had obstructed ongoing investigation efforts concerning what was alleged about targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He added that the security leadership is working on preparing a plan to prevent attacks and protect Iraq's sovereignty. He emphasized that the government will not allow any individual actions or any violations originating from outside the country, asserting that the security forces are solely responsible for the security file, and the presence of any weapons outside the state's control will not be permitted.
