Iran's Araqchi: American People Should Not Bear Israel War Costs

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated Friday that the American people should not truly pay the bill for Israel's wars. Araqchi posted a new tweet on his official "X" account, referring to remarks by the Acting U.S. Secretary of the Navy. Those remarks concerned the dismantling of U.S. forces headquarters in Bahrain. He praised the frankness of Acting Secretary Hahng Cao, stating Cao was correct. Araqchi asserted that Iran's powerful armed forces had already razed the headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, like other bases supporting U.S. aggression. The Iranian minister reiterated that the American people should not bear the cost of Israeli conflicts.
