Iranian Revolutionary Guard Claims Downing US MQ-9 Drone Over Hormuz Strait

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Monday that it had shot down a US MQ-9 reconnaissance drone over the Strait of Hormuz. The IRGC stated in a release on its press service channel that the drone was intercepted and successfully brought down by its advanced air defense system operating in the critical waterway.
