Iranian Parliament Speaker: Diplomacy is a Confrontation Arena, Not Surrender

Iran's Parliament Speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, stated on Tuesday that diplomacy is not surrender, but rather a means to convert field power into political gains. Ghalibaf described diplomacy as "an arena of confrontation." Speaking during a ceremony honoring veterans, Ghalibaf emphasized that his country will never surrender in the "compound war" encompassing economic, military, and diplomatic aspects, among others. He affirmed that Iran will not halt life and will respond forcefully, as it has always done. Ghalibaf highlighted his country's ability to target any desired point with its missiles without restrictions. He also conveyed a message to US President Donald Trump, asserting that Trump "cannot impose his power on Iran."
