Iranian Official: US Seeks Negotiations on Our Terms

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi affirmed that the United States is seeking negotiations with his country. Araqchi clarified that America's objective in the conflict was Iran's surrender, asserting Tehran will not surrender and Washington now seeks negotiations under Iranian conditions. He cited a prior memorandum of understanding with the U.S. that included 13 clauses favoring Iran versus one for the American side, noting Israel's strenuous efforts to obstruct its implementation. He added Iran triumphed in both war and diplomacy, compelling "the enemy" to accept its terms, emphasizing military and field capabilities empowered Iranian diplomacy in negotiations.
