Iranian General Staff: Trump's Speeches Won't Shift Power Balance, Warns of Harsher Strikes

The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces and Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters affirmed that the American President's speeches do not alter power calculations, responding to his recent statements before the United Nations General Assembly. The Staff described those hostile statements and repeated threats against Iran, along with the exploitation of the UN platform to justify aggression, incite insecurity, and engage in piracy, as not based on facts on the ground but rather constituting a tool for internal propaganda. It indicated that the repetition of these threats and claims, amidst the attrition suffered by the American military, does not represent an indicator of strength but rather reveals a real strategic incapacity faced by the United States. The Staff accused Washington of being a source of threat and instability in the West Asia region, considering that it seeks to compensate for its failures in confronting Iran and in maritime piracy operations by holding the global economy hostage. It stressed that the American President's speeches will not be able to change power calculations or compensate for the decline of the United States' standing in the new world order, as well as Washington's failures in the war against Iran and the axis of resistance. The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces and Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters warned that the Iranian armed forces are prepared to deliver "harsher, more destructive, and harder-to-predict strikes" against those they described as aggressors, and the leaders of the United States and Israel.
