Iranian Consul: US Forces in Kurdistan Are Targets

Iranian Consul in Sulaymaniyah Mahmoud Mahmoudian said Monday that U.S. forces in the Kurdistan Region are considered targets for Iran.

He noted this comes amid rising regional tensions.

The Bakhtiari neighborhood in Sulaymaniyah was hit by drone attacks the previous night.

The attack targeted residential buildings.
