Iran to Brief Iraq, Gulf States on New Hormuz Maritime Route at Oman Meeting

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced his country would inform Iraq and Gulf states about a newly established maritime route in the Strait of Hormuz. This briefing is scheduled for a crucial meeting tomorrow, Monday, in the Sultanate of Oman. Araghchi stated that the agenda for the Monday meeting in Muscat will primarily focus on this updated shipping path within the strategic waterway. He added that Iran's condition for reopening the Strait of Hormuz is the United States' return to its obligations under the Islamabad Memorandum.
