Iran: Saudi Arabia Requested Salalah Meeting Postponement Due to Yemen Events

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei confirmed Saudi Arabia requested the postponement of their scheduled meeting in Salalah. Baghaei attributed this request to the ongoing developments in Yemen, noting the meeting was indeed cancelled, with Riyadh seeking its deferral to a later date amid the Yemeni situation. He added that the agreement between Iran and Oman on maritime corridor demarcation concerns both countries' sovereignty, asserting Tehran does not interfere in Yemen's affairs. Baghaei concluded, stating, "some countries exploit these events against us and fish in troubled waters."
