The Friday preacher of Najaf, Sadreddin Al-Qabanji, stated on Friday that Iraq respects its neighbors and does not desire a political crisis with them, while welcoming the announcement of discovering an oil well in the province, emphasizing that the discovery will positively reflect on the local and national economy and provide thousands of jobs.

Al-Qabanji said during the Friday sermon in Najaf that "discovering an oil well in Najaf, as announced by responsible authorities, represents an important step for the province," noting that "this discovery will enhance local wealth and provide jobs for thousands of hands, in addition to consolidating Najaf's economic position alongside its religious status."

He added that "official authorities indicated that the operation of the oil well will take place within one year," expressing his hope that "this will reflect positively on the local and national economy."

On international affairs, Al-Qabanji pointed out that "the US Senate restricted the powers of US President Donald Trump regarding the war against Iran," noting that "Iran practices a policy of patient endurance and possesses the spirit of Hussaini martyrdom and Haidari courage."

On the regional level, Al-Qabanji spoke about circulated news regarding the formation of an Arab alliance to target Iraqi factions, stressing that "Iraq respects its neighbors and does not wish for political crises with them," warning at the same time that "any country interfering in Iraqi affairs will bear the consequences."

In the Gaza file, Al-Qabanji condemned the Israeli occupation's arrest of activists from the "Steadfastness Flotilla" dedicated to transporting humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, demanding the release of detainees and allowing food and medicine to reach the people of the Strip.

Al-Qabanji also praised the success of the visit of Imam Al-Jawad (PBUH), appreciating the efforts of government and popular institutions, and noting that "official reports showed the participation of five million Iraqi pilgrims in the visit."
