Health Minister Orders Urgent Facilitation of Cancer Treatment Dispensation

On Saturday, Health Minister Abdul Hussein Al-Mousawi directed the facilitation of procedures for treating cancer patients and the urgent dispensation of their medications. The ministry stated that the minister tasked health departments in the capital and all provinces with simplifying the treatment procedures for cancer patients. He emphasized that no patient referred to cancer centers should be sent back if the treatment is available at another center different from the one that made the referral, stressing the urgent provision of medication to meet patients' needs.
