Gold Prices Witness Increase in Baghdad Markets

Gold prices in Baghdad's local markets saw an increase today, Saturday, for both Iraqi and foreign gold. This rise coincided with an uptick in the exchange rate during the week's morning trading sessions. In Al-Nahr Street wholesale markets, the selling price for one mithqal of 21-carat Gulf, Turkish, and European gold reached 985,000 Iraqi Dinars, with a buying price of 981,000 Dinars. This marks an increase compared to 967,000 Dinars recorded last Thursday. For 21-carat Iraqi gold, the selling price per mithqal was 955,000 Dinars, and the buying price was 951,000 Dinars. At jewelry stores, the selling price of a mithqal of 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 985,000 and 995,000 Dinars. Meanwhile, Iraqi gold's selling price varied from 955,000 to 965,000 Dinars per mithqal.
