The "Achilleas," a giant oil tanker operated by the Greek firm "Dynacom Tankers Management," sustained damage in the Strait of Hormuz. Maritime risk consultancy MarSec reported the tanker was struck by a missile in its steering gear compartment. The vessel was traversing a passage through the strait, with transit coordinated by the U.S. military. Dynacom was among the initial companies to continue crude oil transport via the strait during conflict, although its visible activity in the waterway has recently diminished.
