GCC Condemns Drone Attacks Targeting Saudi Arabia from Iraqi Territory

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) strongly condemned on Monday the drone attacks that targeted the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Iraqi territory. Secretary-General Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi stated that these aggressions, launched by Iranian-backed factions in Iraq, constitute a dangerous provocative act. Albudaiwi described these actions as a serious escalation, a blatant violation of international law, and a direct threat to regional security and stability. He affirmed the GCC's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, supporting all measures taken to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
