French President Emmanuel Macron announced Thursday his country's support for the Lebanon ceasefire agreement, declared in Washington. He affirmed the nation's readiness to proceed within its coordination mechanism with the United States. At a Montenegro press conference, Macron stated France endorses the ceasefire between Lebanon and Israel, and all efforts contributing to restoring peace, combating destabilizing actions, and fully securing Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The French President added France is, as always, prepared to engage in this direction, stressing the joint coordination mechanism must be reactivated to monitor and verify the ceasefire's serious implementation.
