Foreign Minister Arrives Washington to Continue Partnership Talks

Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein arrived in Washington D.C. on Sunday. He stated on X that the visit seeks to hold meetings with the US side, continuing dialogue and advancing Iraqi-American relations towards a broader, mutual-interest partnership. Hussein noted discussions would cover developing political, security, and economic cooperation, opening new partnership avenues. This aims to serve Iraq's interests, enhancing its security, stability, and development, while supporting regional stability. The delegation will also engage with Washington-based think tanks.
