Singer Faia Younan has revealed her battle with skin cancer, a year after recovery and early detection via a simple observation. In a video posted on social media, Younan recalled last summer's events. She noticed a small mole on her back, feeling she saw it for the first time, unsure of its origin. Intending to check it, she delayed for months, until a dream, she recounted, urged her to see a doctor that very day. Faia reported the doctor requested immediate mole removal for analysis. Two days later, diagnosis confirmed skin cancer. Younan then underwent a broader operation to remove surrounding skin, also sent for examination to ensure no other cancerous cells remained. Younan emotionally recalled the moment, noting she shed "tears of gratitude" for the early discovery before spread, and that subsequent tests were clear. A year on, Faia transformed her experience into a public awareness message, deeming its happy ending worthy of sharing. She stated: "This is my beautiful story with cancer, and I say beautiful because its ending was happy for me," adding her sharing is "a type of awareness." She concluded by emphasizing vigilance for skin changes and not delaying examination, asserting that health awareness and responsibility can save lives, with the words: "Take great care of yourselves, and may God protect everyone... I love you."
