Europe Warned of Jet Fuel Crisis Within 3 Weeks

ACI Europe warned of a potential jet fuel shortage in Europe within three weeks if stable shipping through the Strait of Hormuz is not restored.

In a letter to the European Commission, the group said the disruption could reduce air connectivity and harm the European economy, especially ahead of the summer travel peak.

Airlines such as Delta Air Lines have already started cutting flights as fuel prices rise, according to IATA.
