Egyptian Actor Ahmed Galal Abdel Qawy Dies After Struggle

Egyptian artist Ahmed Galal Abdel Qawy passed away today, Sunday, at the age of 42, following a battle with cancer. The late actor had previously announced his illness, receiving significant support and prayers from his followers. In his final hours, he posted a message on "Facebook" that was widely interpreted as a farewell, stating: "Time is an important factor in all circumstances.. The important thing is to change the narrative." Abdel Qawy entered the world of art, emerging as one of the young talents who achieved remarkable success after his participation in the series "Hadrat Al-Muttaham Abi" alongside the star actor Nour El Sherif and directed by Rabab Hussein. He acted alongside a group of notable actors at the time, including Sherif Salama, Zeina, and Iman Al-Assi, earning widespread praise for his performance and distinctive presence in the series. This established him as one of the prominent artistic figures who captured attention in the mid-2000s, leaving a lasting impact on audiences. His notable works also include the series "Al-Layl Wa Akhereh" with star Yehia El Fakharany, directed by Rabab Hussein, and the series "Al-Mursi wal Bahar," also with Yehia El Fakharany.
